Junior Golf

Through the game of golf and its intrinsic values of sportsmanship, discipline and integrity, our mission is to enrich the lives of our youth through education, training and competition.  Junior Golf has helped the lives of countless people who credit that early, but lasting experience with their later success as business and civic leaders, parents and individual citizens.  It is these principles they learned at that time that continue to influence their lives today.

The Golf Professional staff at Loudoun Golf and Country Club offers these experiences for Juniors to learn and develop their game:

Golf Camps:

We will be conducting several junior golf camps throughout the year. During each camp, the junior will learn the fundamentals of the golf swing as well as safety, etiquette and Rules of Golf. This camp will consist of hands on instruction and practice, with skill challenges to put to practice the techniques that were learned throughout the week. Dates and times for camp sessions will be posted in the near future.

Private Instruction

Individual instruction for juniors of all levels using time tested and professional proven fundamentals.  These lessons are designed with the student’s current ability and goals in mind.  Any facet of the game can be covered:  full swing, pitching, chipping, bunker play and putting.  Lessons include technology, drills and video as needed to help the students see and feel the desired motion. Please inquire with the golf shop at golfshop@loudoungolf.com for more information.

Tournaments
The Club organizes playing opportunities for Junior Golfers throughout the year. The Junior Club Championship and Parent-Child Championship are the highlights of the schedule as well as other Junior-only tournaments throughout the golf season.
